My interest is the research on conservation, behavior, and ecology of the giant panda in the wild. I focus on the studies of the mating strategy, home range, habitat selection, chemical communication and forage strategy of giant pandas. The results will be helpful to the conservation management of this endangered species.

Now I am using the theories of ecological stoichiometry and nutritional ecology to investigate the relationship between foraging behavioral responses and mineral (C,N,P, Ca, Na, Fe, Si) and biochemical (protein, carbohydrate, fat) composition of the diet of giant pandas.
